Kangana was seen wearing a Banarasi Moonlight Blue Colored Saree, at the launch of Taneira, a flagship saree store by
Titan in Delhi. The National Award Winning Actress revealed during the event that she has a collection of almost 40 to 50 sarees in her closet and it is something that makes her feel more free and feminine. The fashionista said, when she wears a saree, she feels more feminine and free and is able to express herself better.
Kangana Ranaut has always been quite vocal in her opinion and is always seen out to speak on the social issues, troubling the world and its people. During the event, she was also seen expressing her concern over the condition of Indian Weavers and the sufferings caused by Synthetic Fibers.
“No doubt, the trend of saris is always there, but not as much as it should be. We have a lot to do. Till now, our weavers are suffering. There were thousands of handicraft firms which have disappeared. With synthetic fiber gaining popularity among youth, handloom weavers are suffering, so we have a long way to go,” she said as quoted by India Tribune.
Being said that, her love for sarees is not once in a blue moon. Time and again, she has been seen donning the elegant and sophisticated look of Indian Sarees. Be it to meet the Prime Minister at the Rising India Summit or Umang Police Awards in 2017, Kangana’s love for saree is quite evident.
When asked about her favorite saree look, Kangana said, she feels comfortable in sarees the most. Whether it is her airport look with sneakers and or a complete traditional look, she just loves sarees.
